The Prelude

As the first post I would like to describe the goals of this blog. I’ve always had a fascination with history. When I was in my teens, I would always try to seek out information on events that took place in the world. In school I would be frustrated with the lack of information I get from my teachers. This blog will be discussing the events before, during and after the First World War. World War 1 helped shape the world we live in today drastically for better or for worse. It drew new lines on a map, to large advancement in medicine and technology. Kingdoms crumbling to new governments rising. This war still having an impact on the world one hundred years later. I’m Going to start from the beginning.
